Where Are They Now? (GGP Edition)

We've always been proud of the exceptional quality of writing we receive from our submitters, and of the selections we have been able to highlight as winners and runners-up in our annual chapbook contest. During our first three years publishing chaps, we've had the privilege of working with incredibly talented writers, and we'd like to take a moment to let you know about the incredible stream of book publications that this crew has coming down the pipes this year.

If you enjoyed their chapbooks and miniatures (or would like to find out more!), support these awesome folks and their exciting new books.

  • Our 2014 runner-up, Kevin McLellan, has two books forthcoming in 2015: the chapbook Shoes on a wire from Split Oak Press and his first full-length collection, Tributary, from Barrow Street.

  • Our 2013 winner, Meg Day, also has a full-length, Last Psalm at Sea Level, out from Barrow Street this year, available to order now.

  • Sandy Longhorn, 2013 runner-up, won the 2014 Louise Bogan Award from Trio House Press; her book Alchemy of My Mortal Form will be available in April 2015.

  • 2012 winner Laura Neuman has a new full-length, Stop the Ocean, from Stockport Flats.

  • And last but not least, 2012 runner-up Natalie Eilbert has a new chap, Conversation with the Stone Wife, out from Bloof Books. Hard copies of Conversation with the Stone Wife are sold out, but you can read it for free online here in nifty flipook form or pdf download. Natalie also has a chap, And I Shall Again Be Virtuous, coming out in a few weeks (December 9th!) from Big Lucks and a full-length, Swan Feast, coming in 2015 from Coconut Books.
