Spring Readings: AWP Off-site and New Leaves Conference
Gazing Grain Press is hosting two reading events this month, on opposite ends of the country!
On Tuesday, March 22, Heidi Czerwiec and Nora Brooks (our Inaugural Prose Contest winner and runner-up) will read at the New Leaves Conference at George Mason University. Their reading will begin at 5:30 pm and be followed by a Q&A. Read more about the event here.
We'll also be featuring GGP authors' work at an off-site event with Switchback; No, Dear; and Atlas Review at AWP in Los Angeles. The reading will be held from 7:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, March 31 at City Tavern (735 S. Figueroa St., a short walk from the conference). Read more about the event and receive updates through the Facebook event. The reading line-up includes:
CYNTHIA ARRIEU-KING MAHOGANY L. BROWNE MARISA CRAWFORD TAFISHA EDWARDS MEGAN GIDDINGS CHRISTINE KANOWNIK ALYSE KNORR ANNE LESLEY SELCER
We'd love to see you at either (or both) of these events! Both are free and open to the public. GGP Editors will be on hand with our authors' books for sale, and we'd be delighted to meet you. We'll also be at the AWP Bookfair--more details to come soon.
