AWP Bookfair and Off-Site Reading
Come say hi to Gazing Grain Press at the AWP Bookfair in Los Angeles this Thursday-Saturday! We'll have copies of our chapbooks and miniatures for sale, as well as author signings throughout the conference. Spring Readings: AWP Off-site and New Leaves Conference
Gazing Grain Press is hosting two reading events this month, on opposite ends of the country! On Tuesday, March 22, Heidi Czerwiec and Nora Brooks (our Inaugural Prose Contest winner and runner-up) will read at the New Leaves Conference at George Mason University. Sarah Marcus: I think readers can relate to the beautiful anxiety and obsessive self-reflection in so many of your poems. We've got great news: Gazing Grain Press is now open for submissions of your feminist chapbook manuscripts! This year, we're thrilled to announce that Rachel Eliza Griffiths will judge the 2016 Poetry/Hybrid Chapbook Contest and Lily Hoang will judge the 2016 Prose/Hybrid Chapbook Contest.
